Prove

Cyber insurance readiness

Answer your insurance questionnaire accurately, with evidence behind it.

We collect your cyber insurance questionnaire, explain what each question is asking, map your answers to evidence, flag gaps and inconsistencies, and coordinate fixes before renewal. Cyber Guys prepares the pack; you review and approve every declaration before anything is shared. We do not promise cover, acceptance or lower premiums — those are decisions for your insurer.

Who it is for

Businesses preparing a new cyber insurance application or renewal, and brokers who want their clients to submit accurate, evidenced answers.

Scope

The questionnaire or questionnaires agreed in the scope, the evidence that supports each answer, and the remediation needed before submission.

What is included

  • Questionnaire collection, including forms your broker uploads directly
  • Plain-English interpretation of each question
  • Evidence mapping from your platform assessment and records to each answer
  • Gap identification where an answer cannot yet be supported
  • Flagging inconsistencies between declarations, assessment answers and evidence
  • Remediation coordination for gaps you choose to fix
  • Renewal preparation when continued as an ongoing service
  • Exports that you approve before they are shared with your broker or insurer

What is not included

  • Work outside the agreed scope, which is quoted separately
  • Any promise of cover, acceptance, terms or premium
  • Making declarations on your behalf
  • Insurance or legal advice, including on policy terms
  • Arranging or broking insurance
  • Technical remediation beyond coordination, unless an uplift service is engaged

How delivery works

  1. 01

    Collect

We collect the questionnaire from you or your broker and explain what each question is asking.

  2. 02

    Map and flag

We map each answer to evidence and flag gaps and inconsistencies for you to decide on.

  3. 03

    Fix

We coordinate fixes for the gaps you choose to address before submission.

  4. 04

    Review and approve

You review every declaration. Nothing is exported until an authorised person approves it.

  5. 05

    Renew

Optional: an ongoing service keeps evidence current and prepares for each renewal.

Who does what

You

  • Provide the questionnaire, or ask your broker to upload it
  • Answer questions accurately and provide evidence
  • Review and approve every declaration before it is shared
  • Decide which gaps to fix before submission

Cyber Guys

  • Interpret questions and map them to evidence
  • Flag gaps and inconsistencies plainly
  • Coordinate remediation you approve

  • Your IT provider implements or confirms technical fixes they manage

Access we need

  • The insurer questionnaire, from you or your broker
  • A completed Cyber Guys baseline assessment, or time to complete one

We never ask for your password. Access is through a named account that you or your IT provider create for the engagement, and can remove at any time.

Dependencies and licences

  • Accuracy depends on the information and evidence you provide
  • Questionnaire wording and requirements vary between insurers and renewals

What you receive

  • Interpreted questionnaire with evidence mapping
  • Gap and inconsistency register
  • Remediation tracker
  • Customer-approved export

How we know it is finished

  • Every question has an answer mapped to evidence, or a recorded gap you have reviewed
  • All flagged inconsistencies are resolved or acknowledged by you
  • An authorised person has approved every declaration in the export

Tell us a little about your business. We will arrange a short scoping call to agree what is in scope and send a written quote. The call is about scope and price — it is not free security advice.

Please do not include passwords or other access details.

This asks us to scope Cyber insurance readiness. The scoping call is a sales conversation, not a free security review, and nothing is ordered until you accept a written quote.
